Plasencia Magnum Maduro Cigar Review – This 6×50 stick features a dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a firm dense pack, slight rustic roll, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap, buttery soft oily feel and pungent sweet damp earthy aroma.  First light reveals a good draw with medium bodied smoke showing flavors of a sweet bright metallic earth followed by a dry nut and pepper tingle on the smooth finish.  The first third burns well and slowly shifting slightly to a smooth sweet earth on the draw with a yeasty bread and slight pepper on the now long finish.  Body drops to mild-medium.  The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with flavors changing slightly to a sweet cinnamon joining the draw and the finish getting a touch heavier.  Ending at 50 minutes where it wanted to go out, flavors turned to an ashy heavy tobacco and nasty aftertaste with the burn going very wonky.
