Joya Black Nocturno Cigar Review – This 6.25×46 stick features a very dark brown almost black thick firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, an oily toothy feel, triple cap and pungent fruity pepper and earth aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied flavors of a light sweet earth and slight pepper and spice through the short finish. The first third quickly goes to a medium-full body with longer finish adding a zesty meatiness to the mix. Construction is excellent with a bright white ash. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes keeping the same profile just extending the finish. Ending at 55 minutes where it got too hot for me, the last third dropped the pepper going to a sweeter smooth earth still with the meaty undertone.
