Gran Habano La Conquista Gran Robusto Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick features a dark brown firmly packed wrapper with an oily paper bag like texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent sweet hay aroma.  First light reveals a good draw with mild bodied smoke showing a liverwurst on the draw and just a faint slight sweet mustiness on the finish.  The first third quickly shifts to a mild sweet musty nuttiness all of which stays on the long smooth finish.  The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with the ash dropping in 1″ chunks.  Draw is perfect, the burn self corrected and flavors are up to a mild-medium body adding a deep earth and very slight pepper tingle just on the finish.  Ending at 1:10 the last third continued the excellent construction with notes unchanged.
