The Cavalier Genève White Series Elegantes Cigar Review – This 4.5×52 stick features a gold leaf design on the center of the dark brown wrapper which has medium veins, tight invisible seams, an oily firm but very light pack, large double pigtailed cap and faint manure aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful but mild bodied smoke showing flavors of a sweet grassiness on the draw followed by an oily deep tobacco through the short finish. The first third burns well still putting out lots of smoke with the body coming up a notch to mild-medium. The grassiness fades replaced by a faint creamy coffee note and the finish growing longer just reaching the next draw. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes dropping the ash in a solid chunk. As it burns through the gold leaf there is a slight metallic zingyness to the now medium bodied smoke with a core of a deep rich coffee and hint of sweetness, with a long finish. Ending at 50 minutes the last third showed no further changes.
