Oliva V Melanio Maduro Torpedo Cigar Review

This 6.5×52 box pressed stick features a dark chocolate oily silky wrapper with a soft even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a rich musty mocha aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with decent smoke output, having to had cut over .5 inches off the tip to open it up. Flavors are medium-full bodied showing an oily, thick earth pepper and coffee with a long finish. The first third opens the draw slightly which is a good thing, still producing smooth rich smoke. The original light flavors are still all there joined by a dark cocoa that lingers in to the finish. 40 minutes in at the 1/2 way point the ash falls off in a solid chunk, the burn is perfect and flavors only change by going barely sweet, keeping the big smooth complex blend. Ending at 1:25 the last third showed no further changes. Thank you very much to viewer Robert Menke for sending this in for review!
