Pergamino Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×50 stick offers a dark chocolate wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, a firm even pack and a sweet chocolate and barnyard aroma. Firt light reveals thick chewy medium-full smoke with flavors of a creamy aged tobacco, deep and earthy with an oily mouthfeel and long finish. The first third develops in to a chewy, oily, creamy chocolate and tobacco flavor with exceptional smoothness. The finish is very soft, smoke output is excellent and the draw is perfect. 30 minutes in, and barely an inch down, everything is going very well with just the addition of a sweetness somewhere in between caramel and licorice. The 1/2 way point came 50 minutes in with no changes in performance. The last third ended at 1:25 with almost the same flavors, going a bit warmer and a with a bit more caramel. Thank you very much to Art District Cigars for generously providing this sample for review!
