PDR Flores Y Rodriguez 10th Anniversary Wide Churchill Cigar Review
This 5 1/8×58 stick features a dry dark tan firmly packed wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent hay and wood aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with huge plumes of thick chewy full bodied smoke giving flavors of a bready yeast spice with a long finish. The first third brings in a savory, meaty flavor with a big oily nut and wood note taking it in to the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes changing the draw flavors by adding an intermittent citrus and leather combo, mixed in with the continuation of the previous profile. The finish is growing shorter, the ash holds to the 1/2 mark and construction is flawless. Ending at 55 minutes, the last third goes to a deep leather tobacco and slight pepper while bringing the body down to medium-full and adding a medium strength buzz.
