Exactus Habano Toro Cigar Review
This 6×50 stick features a dark brown mottled wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, a dry paper bag texture, double cap and rich sweet wood aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with plentiful medium-full bodied smoke output showing peppery, sweet wood and leather smoke with a zingy, heavy earth finish. The first third develops to a very deep oily, peppery earth through the draw and finish, with the big tingle of the pepper washing over my tongue making my mouth water like crazy! Burn is very good, on the slow side with good rich smoke. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes, dipping the body to a solid medium, backing off on the extreme zing and deepness of the earth notes. The last third holds much the same body and flavor profile just adding a smooth nuttiness while ramping up the strength just a touch to mild-medium letting me know it’s there. I ended it with an inch remaining at 1:25 in. Thank you to Exactus Cigar for providing this sample for review!
