Montecristo Reserva Negra Toro Cigar Review
This 6×54 stick features a very dark almost black firm wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a fuzzy slightly toothy feel, double cap and faint soapy aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with minimal smoke output giving medium bodied flavors of a sweet oily wood and slight tobacco, with a long cotton mouth finish. The first third opens the draw slightly giving better smoke production, while the flavor profile remains the same but the body comes down to a mild-medium showing very light airy texture. Dropping the ash at the 1/2 way point 25 minutes in, the only shift has been to a deeper smokey flavor joining the finish. Ending at 55 minutes with a hot inch remaining, the last bit shifts slightly with the sweetness going to a deep er caramel and the finish getting longer and deeper with the smokey tobacco flavors. Thank you very much to viewer Tan for sending this in for review, I really appreciate it! This video is a follow up, I gave it more time to see if the profile would change, which it did slightly for the better since the initial here: https://cigarobsession.com/2012/06/13/montecristo-reserva-negra-toro-cigar-review/
