DT&T StillWell Star English #27 Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed slightly toothy dry wrapper with a large double cap and faint soapy aroma. It features a blend of partial pipe tobacco with first light revealing a distinct, sweet vanilla like flavor that I can best relate to a doughy cookie taste. It’s quickly stomped on by a heavier earthy note typical of cigars, which carries to a long smooth finish of the same. The room note is heavy with the same sweet cookie scent. The first third burns very well and slowly, holding a large solid ash chunk, with no flavor changes. The 1/2 way point comes at a low 45 minutes with perfect construction and no flavor shifts. Ending at 1:25 the last third shifts flavors, still keeping the fleeting pipe notes but the earth goes to a slight coca and zing nuttiness to the nub with just a hint of strength past the band.
