CO BG Reserve Barberpole Cigar Review – This 6×52 twin wrapper stick features a box pressed firmly packed set of wrapper with both a buttery soft and satin feel, pigtail cap, closed foot and rich chocolate aroma. First light reveals a great draw with thick plentiful medium-full bodied smoke showing flavors of a dark coca, deep earth but smooth on the palate with a building zingy pepper and cayenne finish. The first third shifts to a dark roast coffee dominating with just a hint of the pepper and spice left with the sweetness lingering through the finish. 35 min at the 1/2 way point flavors have gone to a creamy sweetness both taste and texture, with the coffee down a notch and a meatiness joining in through the long finish. Ending at 1:20 the last half burned far slower with notes keeping the same profile but adding a baking spice to the mix especially through the finish. Body is back to medium-full with no strength.
