Casa Cuevas Habano Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×52 stick features a dark brown very firmly packed wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap, oily smooth feel and pungent hay and cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich plentiful medium-full bodied smoke showing a smooth sweet earth, graham cracker on the draw with a lighter earth and dark cocoa on the long finish. The first third transforms with a sweet vanilla, creamy cinnamon and light earth with a good spice kick through the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with notes going to a heavier earth, dropping most of the spice and adding an additional note I can’t quite identify. Ending at 50 minutes the last third went very warm, bringing back the vanilla and cinnamon to the mix.
