Villiger La Meridiana Toro Cigar Review – This 6×54 box pressed stick features a dark brown red hued wrapper with a slightly soft pack, very oily slightly toothy feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint damp earth aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick rich medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a light earth and candella like sweetness that hangs through the long finish with no bite. The first third keeps the super smooth near full body going to a creamy sweet earth on both the draw and finish. The 1/2 way point comes at a slow 45 minutes keeping the same near full body but adding a dark dry wood to the finish with a touch of pepper, dropping a solid ash chunk. Ending at 1:30 the last third brought in a medium strength keeping below the body. Flavors went to a deep wood and cocoa combo with a long finish dropping the pepper.
