PDR 1878 Medium Roast Cafe Toro Cigar Review – This 6×52 coffee infused stick features a soft, thin dark brown mottled wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, very oily satin feel, pigtail cap and very potent coffee and cocoa aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with minimal smoke, no discernible notes due to an artificial sweetness from the tip dominating. The first third draw was improved by removing the band. Flavors are medium bodied with notes of artificially sweet Irish creamer with a slight pepper on the tail of the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes pushing a medium bodied dry coffee and grass on the draw quickly tapering off to a subtle sweet finish. The irish cream note is still present in the foot smoke. Ending at an hour the last third just went to a hot washed out nuttiness.
