Padron 1964 Anniversary Series Hermoso Maduro Cigar Review – This 4×56 stick features a very dark chocolate lightly packed wrapper with a firm feel, oily buttery soft but lumpy pack, small veins, tight invisible seams, single cap and pungent musty hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick full bodied smoke with heavy leather and earth notes, big pepper and spice, dark cocoa and a full long finish. The first 1/2 quickly goes even more complex packed full of desert flavors – coffee, cream, cocoa, leather, smooth earth, pepper & spice – all with a long finish and still full body. Draw and burn are perfect but I already know I want more burn time! Ending at just 30 minutes it continued the same complex profile to the hot nub.
