My Father La Opulencia Toro Gordo Cigar Review – This 7×56 box pressed stick features a dark chocolate dense firmly packed oily toothy mottled wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and musty damp earth and cocoa aroma.  First light reveals a perfect draw with light airy medium bodied smoke showing notes of a sweetness, soft dark cocoa, oil on the lips and soft pepper and spice on the long finish.  The first third carries the same combo of flavors with the only change being the pepper and spice a bit more pronounced on the finish and lasting longer to the next draw.  The 1/2 way point at 45 minutes the ash drops in a solid chunk, flavors are unchanged and construction is flawless.  Ending at 1:40 the last third ramps up smoke production and body to medium-full with a much deeper earth, heavier cocoa and roast coffee joining the long finish notes.
