Kristoff Kristania Maduro Toro Cigar Review – This 6×50 stick features a dark chocolate very thick oily wrapper with a lumpy firm pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and rich musty cedar aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with mild-medium bodied flavors of a slightly bitter straight tobacco and hay with a short finish. The first third reveals a perfect draw with mild-medium bodied flavors of a damp musty earth with a slight pepper on the short clean finish. 35 minutes in at the 1/2 way point construction is flawless with no change to the profile. Ending at 1:10 the last third burned a bit slower with a razor sharp burn. Flavors remained mild-medium with the earthy core still present but joined by a dried cherry and subtle sweetness on the draw while the finish drops almost all the pepper and adds a soft yeasty bread note. My fall ’17 Motorcycle Trip Series.
