Gran Habano Gran Reserva #5 2011 Imperial Cigar Review – This 6×60 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap, slight oily tooth and sweet hay aroma.  First light reveals a loose draw that takes a while to put off good smoke.  Body is mild-medium with just faint sweet natural tobacco flavors on a very short clean finish.  The first third burns very well with an even line, bright white ash and great draw with plentiful but still very mild smoke and unchanged flavors.  Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes the burn is a bit wonky but flavors changed to a smooth creamy leather.  Ending at 1:10 the last third corrected the burn while the profile shifted again to a deep, dry, heavy bitter medium bodied earth with finally a long finish.
