Oliveros All Stars No. 5 Chord Cigar Review – This 6.5×52 belicoso features a dark chocolate very thick and firmly packed wrapper with an oily slightly toothy feel, small veins, visible seams and damp musty cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium bodied smoke output showing flavors of a sweet zingy cedar wood note with a metallic tingle on the fairly long finish. The first third grows more complex adding a touch of cream, bread and leather to the draw while the finish grows longer and the body comes up to a medium-full with thick smoke. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes dropping the ash in a solid chunk, keeping the same flavors and bringing the body back to a medium. Ending at 1:10 the last third stayed the same right till the top of the band where it quickly went to a very hot washed out nuttiness.
