CAO Consigliere Soldier Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick features a lumpy dark brown wrapper with a soft even pack, small veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap, oily soft feel and faint barynyard aroma. First light reveals a great draw with minimal mild-medium smoke showing flavors of a smooth oily sweet grassy earth with a short finish. The first third changes very little with just a touch more smoke, the body coming up to medium and the finish just lasting to the next draw. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes, construction is flawless, flavors are slightly more complex with a wood on the draw and tiny bit of pepper at the tail end of the long finish. Ending at 1:10 the last third shifted to a zesty dry deep wood with a bit of citrus note through the deep finish.
