Perdomo Habano Connecticut Toro Cigar Review – This 5.5×54 stick features a dark brown very firmly packed smooth wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and pungent hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with voluminous medium-full bodied smoke showing flavors of a sweet light wood followed by a sweet spicy short finish. The first third settles quickly down to a medium body with complex flavors of cream, sweet nuttiness, dry cocoa and a spice zing joining the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes with flawless construction, dropping the ash in a solid chunk with the same complex flavors. Ending at 1:20 the last 1/2 burns very slowly with flavors going to a sweet deep earth on the draw and finish while a mild-medium strength creeps in from the band point back.
