Rolling Thunder .50 Cal Maduro Toro Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a very dark almost black firmly yet lightly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap, oily feel and faint sweet musty aroma. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with medium bodied smoke with a deep musty wood core followed by a creamy textured smooth earthy finish. The first third burns a bit wonky while the draw starts to open up, still on the snug side. Draw flavors are a deep musty slightly sweet wood and leather followed by a now long deep finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 40 minutes the 2nd third burns better still with a bit of a tight draw but putting out good smoke. Flavors are a straight deep smooth earth on both the draw and finish. Ending at 1:05 the last third showed no further changes.
