CO Final Third Lancero Cigar Review – This 7×38 box pressed stick features a dark brown mottled wrapper with a firm dense pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, oily slightly toothy feel, triple cap and pungent sweet manure aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium bodied smoke showing flavors of a sweet deep smooth earth with a zing and pepper bite lasting through the long full finish. The first third burns very fast but razor sharp. Flavors quickly transition to a more complex blend of a sweet vanilla creme, softer earth and subdued pepper with a dry cocoa all through the still long finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 25 minutes the 2nd third still burns perfectly with body coming up to medium-full and all the flavors now sticking around to the next draw. Ending at 55 minutes where the nub got warm, strength comes in at a medium-full amping everything up a notch. Flavors end at full bodied, dropping all the earth and pepper going to a sweet creamy cocoa throughout.
