Punch Gran Puro Nicaragua Robusto Cigar Review – This 5.5×54 stick features an almost jet black thick firmly packed toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and pungent sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with plumes of medium-full bodied smoke showing a sweet creamy light earth with a finish adding a pepper and musty tobacco. The first third burns perfectly with a razor sharp burn, smoothing the flavors but keeping the body and complexity. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 25 minutes the 2nd third burns a little quicker, dropping the ash in a 2″ chunk with flavors going to a plain smooth deep earth all the way through the long full finish. Ending at 55 minutes the same earthiness lasted to the end with no changes.
