Capadura 898 Extra Ligero Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features a dark brown oily very firmly packed wrapper with medium veins, tight invisible seams, large tooth, a double cap and faint sweet tobacco aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with great medium-full bodied smoke output showing flavors of a big dry smooth straight tobacco and dark cherry sweetness with a good pepper kick, all lasting on the long finish. The first third burns very well but fast, producing the same great flavors while already adding in a good touch of strength kick. The 1/2 way point comes at a fast 20 minutes with perfect construction, dropping the ash in a solid chunk while the draw opens to a completely normal level. Strength continues to rise now matching the body which came down a tick, at a medium. Ending at 40 minutes to the last inch, it continued to ramp up the strength near full with what flavor remained dwindling. Construction was perfect.
