Mi Querida Ancho Largo Cigar Review – this 6×52 stick features a dark chocolate densely packed wrapper with a slightly toothy satin oily feel, minimal veins, slightly raised seams, large double cap and pungent coca, hay and pepper aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with good smoke output showing initial flavors of medium bodied damp tobacco and light earth immediately followed by full bodied black pepper and spice dominating the rest of the draw and long finish. The first third burns perfectly thankfully toning down the pepper now with everything settling at a medium-full body. Flavors are a big pepper, bread, earth and sweet tobacco that lingers on the long finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 30 minutes the ash drops in a solid chunk and flavors transition slightly again. The draw is a smooth sweet cream with slight natural tobacco and light earth with the pepper only punching through on the retrohale. Ending at 1 hour the last third brings up the strength matching the body at medium-full. Flavors remain the same.
