Marrero Cigars Tesoro Mio Barberpole Cigar Review – This robusto sized perfecto stick features a striped appearance using two cut bands of Connecticut and habano leaf. It has a firm even pack, minimal veins, tight seams, a satin slightly toothy feel and very faint cedar aroma. First light reveals a very snug draw with medium bodied smoke showing a bright nuttiness and slick grass through the short finish. As the perfecto tip opens up the first third changes to a perfect draw with copious amounts of medium-full bodied smoke showing flavors of a big vanilla blast, cashew nut, creamy coffee and a long finish with just a hint of pepper tingle. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes going to a solid creamy vanilla coffee, pretty much like a Starbucks drink. Constructions is perfect with a long solid ash to the 2nd third, draw is open still producing great near full bodied smoke. Ending at 1 hour the last third past the band shifts to a bright earth with a heavy aftertaste and touch of strength.
