Caldwell Blind Man’s Bluff Toro Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a dark brown slightly lumpy firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a buttery soft feel, triple cap and sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful full bodied smoke production showing flavors of a sweet zingy earth and hay with a good pepper bite through the long finish of the same. The first third burns very well coming down to a medium body with the profile shifting to a creamy sweet nut and coffee on the draw with the finish dropping the coffee. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes with excellent performance dropping the ash in a solid chunk. Flavors are primarily the same with the coffee going stronger in to the finish and the smoke leaving almost a cottonmouth feeling on the palate. Ending at 1:10 the last third goes to a medium full warm smoke with flavors of a deep earth and caramel dropping what little pepper was left on the finish.
