This 6×54 is the 3rd and last in the CigarObsession series! Originally intended for release one year from now, the impending FDA regulations forced us to release it early with the previously reviewed 2nd third cigar. It features a buttery soft oily dark chocolate wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, triple cap and musty cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich thick medium-full smoke output and flavors of a charred wood, smooth slightly sweet cocoa and smooth black pepper on a long finish. The first third transitions to a rich mix of creamy coffee, caramel and a soft pepper all carrying through the finish with plumes of thick smoke. The draw is effortless and the retrohale comparatively mild tempered. 1/2 way in at 45 minutes the ash finally drops in a solid chunk! Flavors are a very smooth near full body mix of caramel, coffee, cocoa, cream followed by a touch of pepper all through a long finish. A mild-medium strength joins the mix slowly creeping up. Ending at 1:20 the last third brings the strength to a medium while the core flavors continue to get smoother and meld together perfectly.
