This 6.5×56 stick features a dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a slightly spongy even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap, oily butter soft feel and rich sweet cocoa and hay aroma. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with decent but thick and full bodied smoke showing flavors of a slightly sweet oily deep earth and pepper all carried on the long finish. The first third burns well and very slowly coming down just a notch to medium-full bodied. Flavors are very similar with the pepper going to the background and the earth taking over but still with a smooth sweetness taking the bite off. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 45 minutes it drops the ash in 1/3 chunks, needed a slight touchup and flavors remained the same. Finishing at 1:25 the last third went to a zesty nuttiness keeping a bit of the earth in the background with a noticeable rise in strength, to a medium giving me a slight buzz and jitters.
