Covadonga Toro Cigar Review

EDIT: I goofed somehow on the price, this is a $7 MSRP cigar. This 6×52 stick features a dark brown satin finished wrapper with a firm pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent cocoa and wood aroma.  First light reveals a good draw with decent smoke output, giving mild-medium flavors of a earthy wood and a long finish of the same.  The first third brings in a bit of roughness, not quite a black pepper, more like something that would improve with age.  A touch of sweetness on the draw joins in.  The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes needing a big touchup.  Flavors are very muted, mild at best with just a plain tobacco and nut on the draw followed by a tiny sweet earth on the finish.  Ending at 45 minutes the last third showed no further changes. Thank you to covacigars.com for sending this to review!
