Sigh. It’s been one of those months. I recorded this vid with the mic off, so here’s written review at least 🙁 This 7×38 stick features a dark chocolate, firmly packed wrapper with a satin, gritty toothy feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a large pigtailed double cap and pungent smoky cocoa aroma much like a fire cured. First light reveals a very snug draw putting off minimal smoke with soft slightly sweet earth and pepper flavors and a short clean finish. The first third opens the draw slowly but doesn’t change at all with the flavor profile. The ash falls very short in not even 1″ chunks, so watch out. The 1/2 way point comes 45 minutes in, still with no change whatsoever. Ending at 1:15 the last third had a bump in strength to medium-full then down a tick to medium, while flavors only changed slightly coming up to a medium body and adding a cocoa to the earthy core. Thank you very much to John Pearson for sending this sample for review!
