This 5×54 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed oily wrapper with a bit of tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a single cap and rich oily sweet tobacco and cocoa aroma . First light reveals a typical perfect Padron draw with plentiful full bodied smoke showing a sweet earth, dry wood, slight tobacco and big pepper and spice kick through the long finish. The first third comes down in body a touch to medium-full, giving a deep slightly sweet earth on the draw keeping the spicy pepper on the finish. Overall a plain profile so far and it’s burning fairly quickly. 35 minutes in at the 1/2 way point flavors are largely unchanged, just a dry coffee note joining the draw while the finish smooths out a bit loosing some of the big pepper zing. Ending at an hour the last third brought in a HUGE strength kick making my hair sweat, with no further flavor change. Thank you very much to Mike DeLorenzo for sending this sample in!
