Cordoba & Morales Clave Cubana Etiqueta Blanca Lancero

This 7.5×38 stick features a dark chocolate, thick hearty slightly mottled wrapper with an oily toothy feel, triple cap and pigtail, minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a rich barnyard aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with minimal mild-medium smoke output showing flavors of a sweet tobacco and light earth, lasting well through the long finish of the same. The first third burns much better after I massage out a knot near the head, bringing the body up a notch and producing much better smoke. Flavors are the same joined by a tingly pepper that lingers until the next draw. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes holding the same performance. 50 minutes in at the band point, it does rip off a chunk of wrapper from a huge glob of glue. Flavors change including a bit of cocoa on the draw and a hint of cinnamon through the finish, with body up to medium-full. Thank you very much to Cordoba & Morales for sending this in!
