La Zona Habano Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×52 stick features a dark brown oily velvety wrapper with a soft pack, medium veins, large double cap and slight sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium bodied smoke showing exceptionally smooth oily flavors of a slightly sweet wood and tobacco with a subtle pepper joining in. The first third burns quickly but perfectly, bringing the body up a tick to medium-full. Flavors shift, dropping the sweetness, showing a fleeting leather that transitions to a straight earthiness on the finish complimented by a more robust pepper. Ending at just 40 minutes, the last 1/2 shifts to a warm creamy sweet nut, with a bigger pepper zing and hint of cinnamon through the long finish.
