Erez Maduro Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×50 stick features a very dark brown almost black splotchy wrapper, soft even pack, minimal veins, tight seams, sloppy double cap and very rich damp hay aroma. First light reveals a bit of a snug draw with medium bodied flavors of a deep damp earth and touch of bitter pepper with a long finish. The first third burns fairly well, not needing touchups but gets quite hot. Flavors go down to a mild-medium body with an earthy core finished by a slight coffee and damp cocoa on the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with so-so construction, not burning well needing a huge touchup. Flavors continue to be muted while a bit of strength comes in matching at mild-medium. Ending at 1 hour where it got hot and mushy it showed no further changes. Thank you to Erezcigars.com for providing this for review!
