La Jugada Prieto Robusto Cigar Review
This 5×52 stick features a firmly packed slightly toothy dark chocolate oily wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and a soft soapy aroma. First light reveals a very snug draw with minimal mild-medium smoke output showing flavors of a very slick oily sweet chocolate and a fruity decadent smooth pepper through the long finish. The first third keeps the snug draw and barely moves the body to a medium. Flavors are a smooth chocolate with a lingering sweet earth, very light and slick on the finish. 40 minutes in the ash drops at the 1/2 way point while performance and flavors are still complex but very consistent. Ending at the hour mark, the last third opened the draw slightly providing more smoke. Flavors drop the chocolate in favor of a rich creamy earth and a bit mofre pepper lingering through the finish. Thank you very much to Moya Ruiz Cigars for providing this for review!
