Cuenca 5 Anniversary Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×54 box pressed stick features a glove soft dark brown wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap, even spongy pack and oily tobacco and barnyard aroma. First light reveals an easy draw with plentiful rich full bodied smoke production showing a smooth oily tobacco and huge black pepper blast with a short finish of the same. The first third mellows just a tick to medium-full still with rich flavors and a longer finish. Draw flavors are joined by a cinnamon and nutmeg which quickly fade. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 25 minutes the spices on the draw drop off while a spicy heat joins the finish, leaving a warm oil on the lips till the next draw. Performance is great with a long solid ash. Finishing at the hour mark, strength is up to a medium and the flavors remain unchanged. Thank you very much to Cuenca Cigar Company for providing this for review!
