Iconic Leaf Recluse Draconian Parejo Cigar Review

This 5×50 pre-release stick features a thin, dark brown mottled wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, very light pack, triple cap, slightly oily velvet feel and very pronounced sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful full bodied smoke output showing a sweet earth and spice on the draw followed by a long, oily heat through the finish adding a pepper flavor without the zing. The first third comes down to medium-full body keeping the same profile while adding a cinnamon to the draw and the finish stays long with a sweet pepper and spice blast. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point, the spice and pepper die way down and a thick smooth creaminess joins in just on the draw while body continues to mellow to a medium. Ending with an inch left, the last third remains consistent. Thank you Iconic Leaf for sending these in for review!
