H. Upmann Legacy Toro Cigar Review

This 6×52 stick features a medium brown wrapper with a dry slightly toothy feel like a paper bag, one medium vein, seams that are lifting slightly, a nice double cap, firm even pack and a slightly sweet musty aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with light medium bodied smoke output showing a slightly musty sweet earth and grassy notes with a short peppery finish. The first third burns perfectly shifting down to a mild-medium body with a creamy textured earth on the draw quickly followed by an oily spicy long finish, leaving heat on my lips too the next draw. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 40 minutes in flavors are largely unchanged with just a deep wood note joining the draw and the heat on the finish growing weaker. Finishing at 1:30 the last third moved to a smooth medium bodied nut with a long deep finish. Thank you very much to Altadis for sending this in for review!
