Don Cirilo Maduro Reserva Familiar No.4 Cigar Review
This 5×50 box pressed stick features a dark chocolate and red mottled wrapper with a slight tooth, butter soft feel, tight seams, minimal veins, double cap and rich licorice and tobacco aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with plentiful full bodied smoke output, showing flavors of a deep smooth earth and big black pepper zing and spice lasting through the long finish. The first third burns fairly quickly with good performance, keeping the great smoke output and showing flavors of a very creamy slightly sweet nuttiness with a long finish while the big pepper blast has died down. 25 minutes in at the 1/2 way point flavors mellow to medium-full getting smoother and more blended, with a bit of leather joining the draw. Ending at 50 minutes the last third continued the same great flavor combo and perfect performance. Thank you very much to FelipeGregorio.com for sending this sample in for review!
