Arturo Fuente Sun Grown Double Chateau Cigar Review
This 6.75×50 stick features a firm, satin dark brown wrapper with minimal veins, thick slightly raised seams, large triple cap and very rich sweet cedar aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium-full bodied flavors of a very rich deep sweet wood and dark bitter chocolate through the finish, very substantial. The first third drops the bitterness very quickly and most of the chocolate also letting up on the deepness of the cedar, mellowing to a creamy textured, smooth slick woodiness and a long finish. 40 minutes in at the 1/2 way point the cigar so far has been very consistent with perfect construction, holding the ash almost 1/2 the way down. Ending at 1:30 the last third shifted a bit, picking up a touch of strength, dropping most of the wood and going to a warm creamy note with a soft earthy finish.
