Cordoba & Morales Family Reserve Torpedo Cigar Review

This 6×52 stick features a dark tan smooth dry wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a very spongy give and rich wood and hay aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with plentiful full body flavors of a deep peppery earth and leather with a smooth smoke, bit of a bitter wood, finishing big adding more pepper and spice. The first third continues the same basic flavors, dropping the bitterness and some of the pepper & spice, just leaving a near full body core of earth, oily, leather and deep wood with a long smooth finish. 40 minutes in the ash drops at the 1/2 way point, flavors just shift slightly bringing a cream in and the leather back up at the start of the draw. Ending at 1 hour, the last third showed no further flavor changes, but the strength did pickup somewhat, complimenting the full body flavors nicely. Thank you very much to Cordoba & Morales Cigars for providing this sample for review!
