Don Pepin Garcia Serie JJ Selectos Maduro Cigar Review

This 5×50 cigar features a very firm, thick dark brown wrapper with a triple cap, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a dry slightly toothy feel and rich pepper aroma. First light reveals a very loose draw with medium bodied smoke giving flavors of a very smooth oily tobacco with a long finish. The first third tightens the draw slight but the ash is very flowery and flaky. By the 1/2 way point it needed a large touchup to correct a side that didn’t want to burn very well. Flavors remained unchanged all the way through, with the last third ending at 55 minutes, the only shift being a strength kick coming in for the last 30 minutes. Thank you very much to the Hemry brothers, Brian & Brandon for sending this for review!
