La Aurora 100 Anos Preferido No. 1 Cigar Review

This 6×58 perfecto stick features a dark brown smooth oily wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a lumpy spongy in spots construction and mild earthy aroma. First light reveals a very snug draw with a single clip, good smoke output with medium boied super smooth and creamy textured slightly sweet tobacco flavors. The first third, after clipping the head a bit larger, eased up on the draw but still remained on the snug slide. Smoke output increased and stayed very rich and smooth with medium-full flavors of caramel, leather, a light earth, pepper and some spice that comes through on the finish. The 2nd third burns perfectly, hitting the 1/2 way point just shy of 1 hour in. Flavors are a very soft and creamy sweet earth with a smooth deep finish, dropping the leather and pepper from the beginning. Ending at 1:30 the last third went too hot for my taste with an inch remaining, continuing the same flavor profile. Thank you very much to La Aurora Cigars for sending this sample for review!
