Xikar HC Criollo Grande Cigar Review

This 6×6 stick offers a medium brown wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, a firm even construction, double cap and a texture of fine sand paper with a very small tooth, with a rich smooth tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw, plenty of thick rich smoke and flavors of earth, rich tobacco with a pepper and spice finish that builds over time. The first third develops in to earthy, nutty smooth and creamy flavors with a very oily pepper and spice finish. It’s medium-full bodied and strength, giving a bit of a head rush just 10 min in. 1:10 min in at the 1/2 way point, the experience is exactly the same which is fine with me! The last third continues the same experience, ending at the 2:15 mark! A fantastic value, as these are not very expensive and obviously give a GREAT smoke time! Construction was perfect and the flavors very smooth from start to finish. Thank you very much to Xikar for generously sending this for review!
