Felix Assouline Ego Maniac Cigar Review

This 6.5×56 stick features a dark brown and red glove soft wrapper with an even soft box pressed pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap and rich peppery hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with full bodies creamy spicy, peppery earth holding through a long smooth finish. The first third has a loose draw that needs double puffs fairly frequently to stay smoking, but flavors are still full and the same. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 25 minutes the cream dies down, body is at a medium-full ans the big pepper blast tones down a bit but is still long on the finish. Ending at 1:05 the last third brings in a medium strength, the pepper smooths out and the draw shifts back to a cream with a warm cinnamon. Thank you very much to Felix Assouline Cigars for sending this sample in for review!

BRYAN, ive looked high and low for these cigars and their shots, i cant find them anywhere nor can i find an online distributer. Where can i get my hands on these?

    • Beats me. I’d say ask them, but it’s yet another useless website ;( I know they are being distributed but I can’t point you to a source to find out exactly where. You’ll have to call or email them from their website holding page.

Very frustrating. Both the Ego Maniac and Ego Shot sound good. How are you in business and no usable website?

        • Boucher207

Just contacted Felix Assouline they said they wanted to know where i buy my cigars so they can contact them and get them carried there, hopefully that happens! Also they have a new website check it out!

    • Hi Boucher207. I know we corresponded on our FB page but wanted to acknowledge this post here as well…just in case you’re not the same person.

Sounds just great flavors, but the construction is important too, i hate when i need to fight the cigar to just get it lit.

    Thanks man for the review!

I agree with others this sounds like an amazing cigar! But having trouble finding where I can purchase them.

Hey Michel, thanks for the reply. I live in Cherry Valley, Il but the nearest B&Ms I go to are in Rockford, Il.

        • Hi Eric,

Any one in particular you frequent in Rockford more than others? Also, please let me know if you have any problems reaching the store in Davie for mail orders.
