P. Benitez Lancero Cigar Review
This 7.25×38 stick features a slightly lumpy medium tan wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams a pigtail cap and slight soapy, peppery aroma. First light reveals tons of thick creamy rich oily medium bodied smoke with flavors of deep aged tobacco that quickly goes to a almost bitter grass and hay with a long finish and a perfect draw. The first third develops to medium-full flavors of a creamy, oily, smooth earth, pepper & spice with a bit of cinnamon coming in at points, and a long finish of a light earth and pepper with a good zing on the tongue. Burn is quite fast, going about an inch every 5 minutes to this point and the ash holding to the same. 30 minutes in at the 1/2 way point, flavors are joined by a bit of creamy coffee, with everything else remaining the same. Ending at 55 min, the remainder held all the same qualities. Thank you very much to PBenitezFineCigars.com for sending this for review, I greatly appreciate it!
