Comfortably Numb by Espinosa Vol. 1 Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a firmly packed dark tan wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich sweet woody aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a deep, thick oaky wood and strange chemical taste that quickly went away after a few draws. The 1st third quickly shifts to a bright, clean, smooth slightly sweet leather on the draw, followed by a damp, very heavy earth that lingers to the next draw. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with notes shifting from leather to wood and cereal, quite dry and textured. The finish dampness went away, traded for graham cracker. Ending just over an hour, the last third burned more slowly, transitioning back to an earth adding a creamy coffee and good strength kick, that sticks around the long finish. Ash holds in 1″ chunks with a great burn.
