La Flor Dominicana TCFKA “M” Collector’s Edition 2016 Cigar Review – This 7×55 unique perfect stick features an intricate double wrap of blocked and striped wrappers with a light pack, smooth oily feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, tight pigtail cap and faint hay aroma. First light reveals an ok draw with light mild flavors of a smooth oily hay and grassy notes with a short earthy finish. The first third opens to a normal draw with mild-medium bodied smoke showing notes of a sweet creamy textured nuttiness and leather with a long finish of the same. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes opening the draw further putting out richer medium bodied smoke with the nuttiness shifting down and the earth a bit up while the finish gets shorter. A fairly good strength kick joins in matching the body. Ending at 1:05 the last third just got hot and washed out to a general woody flavor at the nub, holding the same flavors but dropping the brief strength after the band.
